Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 07/04/17. Pitch black with a handsome tan covering. Nose is chocolate, spice, dark malts, toffee, light charr. Taste comprises burnt toffee, dark chocolate, mellow roast, light menthol notes, black peppery spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent stout.

Bottle 0.5l. Dark red to black colored. AROMA- sweet coffee with milk, aromatic wood, coffee, chocolate. FLAVOR- very smooth, a bit sweet, pleasantly bitter, lactic tones, creamy, chocolate, wood, roasted tones. Medium to fuller bodied.

Tap. Almost black color, very good creamy foam. Aroma: coffee, barrel, whisky, caramel and chocolate. Taste strong, oak, caramel, prunes, dried fruits, whisky, a little smoke.

Butelka 0.5l (BB 10.09.2017). Czarne z delikatnymi, rubinowymi przebłyskami pod światło. Piana beżowa, bardzo obfita, całkiem trwała a opadając wyraźnie oblepia ścianki szkła. Aromat jest intensywny, palony, na początku przyjemnie czekoladowy a dalej rządzi już tylko paloność. W smaku palone z nutami czekolady, subtelnej wanilii, przyjemną paloną, ciut popiołową, długą goryczką. Piwo półsłodkie, leciutko waniliowe na początku choć finisz jest zdecydowanie wytrawny, palony, leciutko drewniany, taki beczkowy a zyskuje w miarę upływu czasu. Średnio treściwe, może minimalnie za bardzo nasycone choć świetne w odbiorze a leżakowanie z dębowymi płatkami z beczki po kubańskim rumie robią robotę i nadają piwu wyraźne nuty beczkowe, takie jak słodka wanilia i drewniany posmak. Bardzo dobra kooperacja.

Sampled @ Festival Dobrego Piwa Wroclaw 2017. Fast schwarze Farbe, geringe beige Schaumkrone. Geruch ist süß holzig röstmalzig, Vanille, Kaffee. Geschmack ist süß schokoladig malzig, Vanille, bourbon.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty. Liqourice and dark roasted malty. Dry, bitter and roasted malty. Breadish and roasted finish.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with creamy foam. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, hazelnut. Body is medium-light with light carbonation, but tongue-tickling. Taste is slightly bitter, and coffeeish feeling. Finish is slightly sweet and relatively long.

Keg at the Warsaw craft beer fest. Pours black-brown with a dense, creamy tan head. The aroma holds good robust smoked malts, cocoa, burnt wood. Medium to big sweet flavour with strong torched wood character, bittersweet baking cocoa, burnt sugars. Medium bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with more burnt sugars, campfire, cocoa, some dried berries. Very nice beer.
