Bottle shared at IJssel & Gouwe Bierfestival. Hazy golden orange with no head. Dead looking, really looks flat. Aroma of malt, wort, biscuit, toffee and light yeast. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with actually a little carbonation coming out.

0.33 l bottle from ’T-Drinks’, best before April 2017. Murky, golden brown with a thin, very fluffy, quickly collapsing, white head. Sweetish, a little yeasty-spicy and musty aroma of biscuits, sweet bread, toffee, some clove and a touch of banana. Sweet, slightly yeasty-spicy taste of toffee, some honey, grains, some clove and fint hints of banana, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Has only little to do with a proper Weizen, really dull and doesn’t look very appealing as well. Absolutely not worth its hefty price tag, unfortunately.

Medium, rather dense white head over well-carbonated hazy yellow beer. Dull-spicy nose, some wheat, dried flowers. Wheat, citrussy spiced. Sweetish malts and lightly sourish wheat. Spicy finish (no coriander). Well-carbonated, wheatslickness, but not very well-bodied. Quite refreshing. Decent wheat ale, somewhere halfway Weizen and wit. Many thanks to Marco and Jens! In the shops from 11/05
