23 June 2021. At Slot Oostende, Goes. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear yellow, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of wheat, old apple, cheese, yeast. Taste has sweetish apple, sourish wheat, some lemon, bready & cereally malt body. Grassy hoppy finish, wheat and subtle yellow fruit. Medium body, slick-watery texture, average carbonation. Too easy, not much taste.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, wheaty and minimally fruity aroma, hints of apple, a touch of peach. Taste is sweet-ish wheaty, minimally biscuity pale malty, minimally yeasty doughy and slightly fruity, hints of apple, a touch of peach, citrusy hoppy overtones with a touch of lemon. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation. More Wheat Ale than Hefeweizen to me. Nice.

Bottle, thanks Benzai! Pale blonde. Herbal yeasty aroma. Citric herbal flavor. Coreander. Decent summer beer.

33cl Bottle from Deen. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of some wheat, hint of lemon, all very faint. Flavour is light sweet, wheat, lemon, just light spicy. Light bodied. Weak, uninspiring, boring ‘Weizen’.

Flesje gekregen van Bart. Oranje tot lichtbruin troebel bier. Aroma is moutig. De smaak is echter zoetig en licht fruitig en kruidig. Weinig nasmaak. Witbier is niet mijn favoriete bier maar dezel is lekker op een zonnig terras.

Murky dark blond with no head. A fairly mild but well balanced one. Fresh and wheaty. Lightly carbonated.

Very cloudy murky beige beer, white fizzy irregular head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, very yeasty, ripe banana, bit spicy, hay, cow fodder. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, fruity, kiwi, slightly sweet, caramel malts, soft acidity. Aftertaste: some citrus, bitter touch, some banana, bitter, bit metallic.

Yeasty citric nose. Colour is clear pale golden, lot of activity, fair mid-sized white to off-white head, half-way lasting. Aroma wheat, lime, coriander, yeast. Flavour light sweet and bitter, wheaty, light citrus. Light sweetbitter finish, spicy notes, light acidity. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, refreshing but overall a bit meagre.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow to pale golden color, small to average sized off-white head. Aroma I find very hard to describe. Flavor is tough to describe too. Both are somewhat faint, but clearly present. Wheat, slightly sweet, pleasantly slight bitter finish. I find it hard to describe the aroma and flavor but I quite like it. Thankfully there’s not a bunch of herbs or spices randomly thrown into this. Very decent clean witbier imo.
