Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a huge creamy ivory head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, peaches, grass, spices and citrus. Has a sweet and fruity flavour with, grapefruit, peaches dry hay, grass and hints of heather and vinegar. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. A nice mix between a Belgian and an American ale. Fruity and tasteful.

Bottle shared. Cloudy blond with swirly yeasties and a big thick white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, a light funky note, light yeasty and mineral. Flavour is light sweet, light moderate bitter with maybe just a hint of sourness. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. A slow gusher leaving a dense, off-white head over an unclear pale orange colored body. Typical Belgian ale aroma, with fruityness and some white sugar, yeasty hints and some piney hints. A peppery touch too. It’s full-bodied, pleasantly carbonated, high but nice, and quite dry, although with a sugary flavor. Fruity and lightly peppery, with a long lightly piney finish. Not sure if the Amarillo hops really shine through in this one, but it’s a fine brew anyway. 160312

330 ml bottle. Unclear pale golden body with a huge white head. Aroma is mild and light fruity with spicy yeast. Flavor is mild, sweet pale malt, moderate fruity in general and a bit spicy with yeast. Medium to light bodied with a moderate aftertaste. Dry hopped with Amarillo?? Really? Dis not read the label when I had this beer and made the rating, for me this just another half decent Belgium blonde, nothing more nothing less. Quite sweet but drinkable without being memorable in any way.

Very good, just yellowish dense and stable head over pale yellow beer. Creamy nose, hints at white candi sugar, yeast. Spicy, green herbal aromas. Very dry flavour, herbal hops, even slightly grassy. So dry that only a dusty bitterness remains as aftertaste. Empty feel, high attenuation, good carbonation. If the attempt was IPA, the umpteenth proof that Belgian brewers don’t get the style(*). Amarillo? This could be any hop. Oh, and better no Dutch, than Babelfish double Dutch... (*) Brewery tells me that indeed, IPA was not at all the aim, so a light hoppy blond is exactly what it is. Noted.
