Bottle shared. Very hazy golden orange with a load of floaters. Aroma of yeast, strange crisps, off fruit, chemical notes and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a little sourness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Awful.

Bottle from Prik & Tik in Zele. Apparently a hobby brew commercialized through Pirlot, had never heard of this before. Thick and frothy, off-white, tightly lacing, dense head residing over a peach blonde beer with light orangey hue, made haze by a ’fog’ of dead yeast bits throughout, becoming totally murky and ’dirty ochre’ with deposit added. Unexpectedly bizarre (but not necessarily attractive) aroma of old ’speculoos’, nutmeg, fish gut in an unpleasant way, chicken spices, dried banana, sweet red curry, apricot, sundried tomato, real ’metallic’ iron and onsetting rust-like oxidation, wet paper, burnt rubber, band aid, apple, bread, old Parmigiano cheese powder, fried egg, sage. Fruity onset with hints of pineapple, banana and pear, sweetish with a sourish edge not in a ’natural’ fruity way but giving away a mild infection, medium carbonated, supple and slick mouthfeel, caramelly malts, a bit oily but otherwise rather thin and (too) metallic mouthfeel, sweet honeyish, yeasty spicy notes, some white candi sugar sweetness lingering and going down malt sweet, with some bready yeastiness, retronasal oxidation and that weird sweet curry spiciness, insufficiently hopped with very low, vague earthy bitterishness; the mild but already somewhat disturbing infection sourishness lingers a bit as well. Amateuristic brew further ruined by infection as well as progressive oxidation, indicating this clearly does not age well; too metallic as well, and showing a certain ’umami’-like spiced chicken aroma which is everything but pleasant. Failure, even close to drain pour for me.

Bottled@PBF X. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, caramelly and toffeeish along with some mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is fruity, some mild spices and a bit herbal notes to it as well. Nice yeasty/spicy aftertaste along with the sweetness of the beer.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, small head. Honey and apricots jump at me. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Yeasty lemon, syrup and sugar, some cobwebs. Sticky finish. Untidy.

Bottle at La Brocante Brussels. Gold slightly hazy lasting off white head. Spicy hoppy aroma. A little plain cereal in mouth. Quite dry. A little candied tangerine. Cold refreshing and I quite liked the pale malt fruit dryness and hop interplay. They all seemed to bounce off each other well. Decent light tripel. Dry cereal fruit hop.
