(Hand pump @ 1420, Copenhagen, Oct 27/18) Pours hazy dark gold with a few white bubbles. Notes of tart apple and lemon, zest, leaves, moderate lactic acid, almost no acetic, sweaty funk, a little cheese, soft earth, a bit of drying oak, light bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied with very soft handpump carbonation. A very middle-of-the road lambic, I can see how it plays into the blending game sitting between, say, a Girardin and a Timmermans.

From bag-in-a-box at Muted Trumpet, Berlin, 29.09.18. Hazy pale nut colour. No head. Aroma and taste of lambic, sour smoke, sawdust and overripe tropical fruits. Dry and astringent mouthfeel.

At brettfest. Aroma of skunk, funk, rotten eggs and rotten fruit. Taste of bittersweet, weird rotten fruit, green apple and a bitter dry finish. Not bad.

8 April 2018. At In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst. Shared with Anke. Batch: early 2017.
Pours clear orange, quickly thinning head, bit fizzy. Complex aroma of different overripe fruits: citrus, apple, banana, mandarin; yeast, some leather & sweat, faint lactic acid. It tastes medium funky sour and light to medium fruity sweet; apple & yeast notes. Long, not too dry, but tart finish & a bit woody. Medium body, 'thick' slick texture, soft carbonation. So pure and artisan - world class!
