The Romans have a reputatio of being master craftsmen and we’ve follwoed that fine tradition, pouring our heart and soul - cor et anima - into every drop of our IPA. A quintet of Amarillo, Cascade, Citra, Columbus & Simcoe hops give an almighty punch of citrus with a crisp bitter finish.

Many thanks to Rian for this can! The beer starts nice floral with malty grain. Easy to drink with a nice grainy malty back. The hops are sticky and herbal, nice and round deep.

Keg, one-third pint at Mr Foleys Cask Ale House. Misty golden body under a white head, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting smell of ripe citrus and pineapple. Mixed fruity taste of pineapple, peaches and citrus. Lingering hop bitter ending. Well bodied. Pleasant version of the style. (Leeds 04.07.2017).

Bottle from Yorkshire Terrier, York. Golden with a small head. Hoppy and fruity pale ale, with its strength providing a fullness, but it’s not overly evident in the grand scheme of things.

Can from Asda Purley Way. It pours clear orange - amber with a small white head. The aroma is bready, tangy, orange marmalade, tangerine and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, dry, tangy, stewed orange, tangerine, marmalade, toasty grain, brown bread, cereal, spice and wood with a drying finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Not great condition to be honest, could be done with more carbonation. OK orange marmalade character. Not bad.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and fairly crisp. Light malts, mildly sweet. Good tangy fruity hops. Tangy tangerine, orange and lemon. Modest tropical fruits, pineapple and mango identifiable. Smooth floral finish also finds some creamy malt sweetness emerging. Nicely done.
