Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Cloudy deep golden, mid sized creamy head. Phenolic banana aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Wheat dough, banana and cloves. Low bitterness. Rather malty and intense for a hefeweizen.

Aroma is a good yeasty foundation lots of bread and cake dough some spices (curry). Taste is a bit sweet wort and lots of umami. Very soothing and sweet for a weizen. Andechser is a bit spikier. Quaffable and full bodied. Exactly what i love in a weizen. On a second thought. A bit of tree bark in the finish. A bit too sour.

Aus der Flasche. Trüb, gelb, genügend Schaum. Aroma und Geschmack: Banane, Hefe. Etwas säuerlich. Für ein gutes Weizenbier etwas zu dünn.

Bottle: Deep golden, hazy, stable and creamy off-white head, distinctive sweet-sourish nose of bananas and dried fruits plus dusty-wheaty-yeasty traces; moderate to solid sweet and slightly sourish flavour, medium bodied and pretty smooth; lingering sweet-sourish bananey-wheaty finish. A devilishly well drinkable diluted Weizenbock...

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Initially slightly sulfuric, pronounced wheaty aroma with notes of banana and traces of vanilla and grassy hops. Moderately sweet and delicately sour-tart flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Hearty malty and wheaty taste with hints of banana, delicately chalky and restrained spicy notes; lingering, moderately sweet and discreetly sour finish with present notes of vanilla and a whiff of banana. Likeable Weizen. 28.II.17
