50cl Fles van REWE Wolfratshausen. ABV 5.5%. Troebel oranjegouden kleur, witte kraag. Banaan, vrij zoet, kruidnagel, frisse tarwe, heerlijk zacht en licht maar toch romig, bananenmilkshake. Lichte body. Prima Weizen.

Draught at a street festival in Pullach. Cloudy orange with a medium head. Aroma of banana and clove. Flavour with caramel clove, banana on the base. Strange enough finish, slightly metallic.

Hazy golden color, with a big white head, but reducing quite fast compared to other weizen. Aroma is banana, very bready. Taste is banana, bubblegum. A bit too sweet. Medium body with medium carbonation. Not bad.

Kräftige Farbe, gute Trübung - das sieht schon recht ordentlich aus. Gekochte Früchte, Getreide, schön sämige Konsistenz. Letztere wird von dem höchstens im Mediumbereich angesiedelten Kohlensäuregehalt unterstrichen. Ein herrlich gehaltvolles Weißbier. Flüssige Nahrung.

Bottle picked up from Fleischmann Getränkemarkt Freising and consumed at home Wednesday 12th May 2021 cooking Fish Pie for tea. Listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music. Banana on the nose and a little bit of clove, pours hazy orange with a white head, the head was the one slight disappointment as it wasn't the big foamy head that I am used to, also it never lasted long. However slight niggle aside this is a very good Hefe-Weisse, nice soft moutheel, plenty of banana, wheatiness throughout, really full flavoured. Big fan of this.

27/12/2020. Bottle shared virtually at the post-Christmas Tears For Tier 4 bottle share. From Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris. Pours cloudy golden orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, ripe banana, yeast, spices, touch of honey. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, slight hint of sour. Medium body, average carbonation. Banana biscuit finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty and yeasty spicy, slightly yeasty fruity aroma, notes of nutmeg, clove, a touch of vamilla, cinnamon and coriander, hints of baked banana, honey, speculoos, pear and yellow apple, overtones of mustard seed and orange peel. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and spicy, notes of pear, yellow apple, some banana, baked banana, a touch of honey, speculoos, vanilla, clove, citrusy hoppy hints of mandarine and lemon. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium carbonation. Very rich and manifold, well balanced, controlled sweetness, refreshing and very drinkable - pretty good!
