Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Euro online shop. Pours black with a modest, foamy beige head. An absolute peat beast, super smoke, burnt moss, torched caramel, well toasted brown bread, nips of chocolate and raisins. Medium to full bodied, somewhat oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, fairly sweet, with loads more intense peat character, undertones of ripe dark fruits, gooey chocolate, campfire. Lingering peat, for sure. Really fun stuff - if you enjoy the peat.

Bottle: Poured a dark black color porter with a dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with some quite powerful notes of peat smoke. Taste is also a good mix of peat smoke with some black chocolate notes some residual sugar with light dry oak notes also perceptible. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Well balanced porter with good notes of chocolate and peat smoke.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Beer in the glass deep black, almost no head. Heavy earthy-malty aroma. Starts very strong with intense malty notes, quite roasty, smokey, also some notes of bacon, liquorice, syrup. Very special. But interesting.

Shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Intense dark roasted peated nose. The beer starts deep and intense, lots of peated malts with a dry caramelly burned chocolate ending. Moderate bitterness with an intense peated whisky woody aftertaste. Great combination!
