Bottle picked up from brewery, Aldersbach consumed at home Sunday 4th June 2023 June 2023, it's stunning weather today and we had a lovely day yesterday with Christian, Josef and Valerie after an afternoon at the new house, Manghlam 17, Innernzell. We're cooking One-Pan Baked Chicken and Tomato Biryani and listening to Scott Lavene - Milk City Sweethearts. Pours ruby red brown, actually more ruby colour, off white head. Soft mouthfeel, caramel, toffee and a there is a little burnt treacle. Good tanginess, if a little lengthy, a little chewy, good.

Tap at Beergeek. Full body, med-high carbonation. Pretty true to style. Lots of malt character, caramelly, but mainly shitloads of dried fruits, toasted. High sweetness and arely any bitterness to balance it out. Alcoholic warmth comes out moderately in the finish. Light oxidation definitely present. Good but not great. Heavy.
