Rocky off white head on a murky brown body. Herbal, fruity & earthy aroma. Medium to thin bodied, softly carbonated & sticky on the back. Malt, berry, herbal, jam & coniferous tastes with a tangy berry finish. Tastes like a spicy Red Ale.

Bottle from Carrefour. Hazy brown, thin, foamy, tan head. Aroma of toffee, old milk chocolate, liquorice, coriander, sugared peanut, green tea, vague tobacco. Taste has sweet prune, red apple & fig, soft chocolatey body with a toffee accent; herbal liquorice & slight soapy coriander in the middle. Herbal hoppy finish, spicy, lingering dried fruit, apple peel & toffee. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Sympathetic little Dubbel.

33cl bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of moderate sweet toasted malt, straw and grains. Taste of moderate sweet toasted and grainy malt, some caramel.

Bottle shared with Marte. Dark red-brown color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, a bit sweet / sweet malty, dates maybe, slight spice perhaps. Decent to medium body, medium carbonation. Ok. 6-4-6-3-13.

Bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van karamel en iets van gras/hooi en een lichte rooksmaak. Best goed.
