Fruit, fruit en nog eens fruit! Deze IPA is licht moutig en bevat veel fruitige smaken uit de hop. Denk aan grapefruit, tropische vruchten, meloen, papaya en limoen.
Naam
That beer is Super DuPA! De naam verwijst naar de uitdrukking super duper, oftewel uitmuntend! Bovendien staat DuPA voor Dutch Pale Ale. Jopen brengt oude bierstijlen tot leven met nieuwe en innovatieve recepten. Dit bier is daar een mooi voorbeeld van. We hebben meerdere brouwgranen gebruikt, net als de historische Haarlemse brouwerijen 700 jaar geleden. Een Dutch Pale Ale is een Pale Ale met meer dan alleen gerstemout en een hoger alcoholpercentage dan de oude Engelse Pale Ales. Ten slotte hebben we Amerikaanse hop toegevoegd waardoor dit bier het profiel heeft van een moderne IPA.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a golden amber with a small foamy transient white head and some lacing. Aroma is a mix of oranges and bread rolls – maybe a maramalde sandwich ?! As for the mouthfeel, first sip gives my oranges and sweetness, second sip gives me very bitter traditional hops, third sip somewhere between. Still hoppy but floral with some citrus. Finish is quite bitter, with orange pith. This is rather nice. Pleasant and very drinkable.

Amber with a frothy, white head that lingers. Aroma of pineapple over caramel. Taste is bitter to bittersweet, with both the hops bitterness and malt sweetness nicely melding. Bitterer at the finish, which leaves enough of a chalky feel in the mouth to a keep this one from feeling particularly refreshing. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Lacks the juiciness of a great IPA, but still not bad.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, piney and resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, grapefruit, mandarine, some pineapple and melon Taste is crisp, bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly piney and resinous hoppy as well, notes of lemon, grapefruit, some pineapple, melon. Minimally oily, watery texture, dry palate, medium, slightly prickly carbonation. Crisp, refreshing, highly drinkable, rather juicy in a way - good!

Piwo ma spora piane srednio trwala bez koronki w szkle. barwa jasno rodzynkowa leciutko opalizujaca, aromat typowy dla IPA, w smaku srednio intensywne ale posmak goryczki jest i utrzuymuje sie jakis czas. Fajna nazwa dlatego postanowilem zakupic. Doskonale na wieczory spedzone z Super Dupa. Nie ukrywam ze zamiast kosztowac i smakowac ta IPe wolalbym smakowac Super dupe:)
