Bottle 33 cl. Pours an orangey reddish (NOT green!) with a slight haze and a small and creamy, off-whute head. Interesting spicy and herbal woodruff nose paired with a distinct lactic tartness. Light, fresh, tart body with the same spicy accents as above. Dry and tart finish. Very well done. 010925

Optisch zeigt sich fahles, klares Goldgelb/Roségold mit champagnerartiger Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone hält, dem Stil entsprechend, naturgemäß wenig gut. Die Duftaromatik überzeugt mit fruchtiger Frische und erinnert an belgische Lambics mitsamt schwach kräuteriger Waldmeisternote. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, spritzig und säurebetont. Das Mundgefühl wird von einem schlanken, eleganten Körper mit hoher und leicht moussierender Rezenz, seidiger Textur und kräftig saurer Trockenheit geprägt. Auf Gaumen und Zunge dominiert selbstverständlich die Säure und wirkt dabei erfrischend und fruchtig. Die Waldmeisternote schwingt hintergründig mit und könnte definitiv etwas prägnanter sein. Die Drinkability darf man grundsätzlich als okay beurteilen. Kräftig restrezenter und säurebetonter, fruchtiger Nachtrunk mit fruchtigem bis fruchtig-herbem Finale.

Color marrón, sucia de espuma, jabonosa, muy poco duradera, feo aspecto, la verdad. Aroma muy herbal, floral, especiado. Cilantro. Cardamomo. Canela. En boca es realmente extraña. Muy ácida, cítrica, como un zumo de pomelo, aderezada con incontables sabores herbales y frutales. Todos los del aroma y más. Quizás tenga sus adeptos. Yo no lo soy.

Das ist richtig gut und hat nichts mit der fiesen Sirup-Weisse zu tun. Trübe leicht bernstein-kupferne Farbe, wenig stabile Schaumkrone; in der Nase schon prickelnd-säuerlich mit viel natürlichem Waldmeister, würzig, kräutrig und sehr frisch; im Mund ebenfalls super frisch, richtig schön sauer, trocken mit ein wenig Süße, viel kräutrig-herbe Aromatik mit natürlichem Waldmeister. Insbesondere für heiße Tage ein stimmiger und anspruchsvoller Durstlöscher.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Hrabren, shared with him & Marko, thanks! Unclear golden coloured, small white to off-white head that went away fast, mild fruity spicy nose. Fruity, spicy, notes of yeast and quite sour with touch of salt in the finish.

0.33 l bottle from a Berlin airport duty free shop, shared with Ogi and Marko. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is spicy, honey, caramel and hints of cardboard. Moderately to heavily sour. Sweet biscuit underneath. Hints of nuts, dried fruits and white grapes. Light finish.

0.33l bottle courtesy of Hrabren. Huge thanks! Murky sweet stone fruit and red apple pulp aroma with some spice. Lean dry salty tart taste, Waldmeister notes, mildly sweetish, quite okay. Bit earthy but I dig how they used the definition of a fake sweet flavoring properly and enhanced a solid sour Berliner with it.

Sensory Session #18: hazy, pale golden color and a quick-very quick-dissapearing head. Acidic, sour, slightly herbal. Very nice balanced woodruff.
