Bottle from Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Hazy brown colour lasting beige head. Yes a rather attractive ipa with some sweetish malt. The barrel ageing is fairly subtle. Good grapefruit and tangerine. In fact the tangerine grows. Decent bitterness on the finish. Malty as well to balance the hops. Rather good ipa. A little bit of milk chocolate.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy chestnut body with a medium beige head. Light lacing. Aroma of honey, lemon, lime and wood. Flavour of grass, fig and cedar. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Nice, but the 10 Finger Discount is better.

It’s very much like the Middle Finger Discount. Hoppy and citrusy with the smokey edge too. The difference, I’d say, is that there’s a touch more spice to it. The other flavours are strong enough that I can’t quite pick out what they are exactly but it just adds a touch of complexity to the flavour compared to the Middle Finger. Very nice indeed.

Taste is sweetish malt caramel with hoppy, floral, citrus grapefruit, pine, earthy grassy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, lingering dry bitter finish. Keg @ Euston Tap. Pours deep amber with big frothy white head. Fantastically hopped, as expected, with lots lime and citrus. But perhaps a bit too sticky & sweet for my delicate tastebuds.
