Bottle, brought over from Nuremberg by a friend. Pretty, glowing reddish-orange color, clear, with a thick, medium head. Nutty, malty nose, toast, some caramel, light citrus and apple. Rich malt flavor, nutty, toasty, slightly roasted bitterness. Quite strong hop bitterness as well. Light to medium body. Nice drinker.

500 ml bottle. Unclear amber with a foamy head. Very malty, roasty, estery, zesty, floral hops, caramel, medium dark bread. Malty fruity sweetness, dry zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry roasty zesty caramel bittersweet finish. This is quite a good Rotbier!

550ml bottle @home. Ambrata/rossastra, intensa, limpida, schiuma bianco sporca media. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Ottima.

€-Fläschla: Reddish-amber coloured, hazy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing off-white head; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter toasty-bready nose with a delicate mineralic-bitter background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, pretty soft; mild and lingering sweetish-bitter bready-toasty finish. Not the brew the world has been waiting for, but nevertheless a well quaffable Bier...

(bottle) Clear, ruby amber to copper colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, molasses and subtle fruity accents of dark and red berries. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly molassy, thus sticky malty base with caramel, bread and toasty accents; sweet and slightly toasted malty finish with caramel and molasses. Reminds me of a diluted Bock. 30.V.18
