On tap at the Brauhaus und Restaurant Markt Schwaben. Pours dark chestnut brown with good clarity and an off white head. It has a fruity tang allied with caramel, a little hedgerow bite, a touch of bitterness it's fine. *Btw we had a wonderful Pumpkin and Ginger Soup here.

On tap at Sheridan's Irish Pub, Zagreb. Dark brown, ochre to reddish tint, medium creamy tan head. Caramel, brown sugar and floral aroma. A touch of nutty, toasty and coca. Rounded up with a nice dark malty touch, although there's a hint of corn in there. A bit tart, not too sweet, some toasty background notes, dry finish. Smooth, light body, soft carbonation. After a while a sugary plastic sweetness appears, not so pleasant. Overally nice.

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, chestnuts as well as a whiff of cacao and herbal hops. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasted and doughy malty taste with shy nutty notes, caramel and herbal spice far in the background; mildly sweet and slightly hop bitter finish with notes of caramel and cacao in the aftertaste. 01.XI.15
