Ganz traditionell präsentiert sich unser süffiges Altbairisch Dunkel. Das glanzklare, kupferfarbene Erscheinungsbild und ein fester, feinporiger Schaum lassen das Herz eines jeden Biergenießers sofort höher schlagen. Das Aroma überzeugt mit deutlichen Karamell- und Kakaonoten. Der volle, markante Körper geht gleichmäßig in eine zartbittere Schokoladennote mit deutlicher Hopfen- und Röstbittere über, die mit leichten Röstnoten trocken ausklingt.

A clear brown body with a begie head. Aroma brings malt,toffee and milk. Flavor is malty, sweet and some grass.

Tap at Schweiger, Markt Schwaben - 15/07/12. Copper amber coloured with an off-white head. Sweetish malts and nuts on the nose. Taste follows nose with a little darker fruit tones in the mix. Medium body and moderate carbonation, smooth drinking Dunkel.

Draught: Clear, stable off-white head, amber coloured; moderate to distinctive sweetish caramelly-toasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; a mild pleasant bitterness shows up in the slightly drier sweet-bitter finish. Archetypal well quaffable Dunkel.....

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty nose. Malty, roasetd malt, caramel and wild berries with a shy touch of plums and chocolate. Slightly hoppy in the finish.

Bottle (from beerangel.de). Reddish copper colour with small beige head. Aroma is malty along with some slight saltwatery and mild caramelly notes. Flavour is malts, quite much wood and some slight notes of caramel. Slight notes of nuttyness and roast as it warms up.

Bottle at One Pint Pub on 2008-11-14. Deep amber and clear. Small white head. Caramell and malts in nose. Medium bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Caramell, roastedness, sweetness and bitterness in taste. Caramell and bitterness in aftertaste.
