Can from GBBF 2018 and drunk at home. Dark clear brown colour lasting tan head. Yes a decent coconut chocolate beer. Some lactose but not too much. Easy drinking. Far too easy drinking. Quite decent. Both dry and sweet. A bit like a bounty bar. OK.

Can from my local Jiyugaoka AEON Liquors. Pours dark brown, almost black, some beige head. Deep toasted malty nose, creamy and with hints of coconut, not very strong though. Light coffee and cocoa as well. Taste has some light roast bitterness, overall still sweet and creamy, bitterness grows in mid-taste and falls into relatively dry, spicy milk chocolate + coffee finish. Quite nice flavourful porter, drinks easy and is very smooth. Quite well done.

12 oz can. $4.00/ can? Pours pitch black with dark ruby highlights and a beige head with very hood retention. Good lacing. Strong coconut nose. Taste is a good mix of coconut and dark charred malts and a touch of coffee. Not too sweet. Smooth, creamy and flat mouthfeel. Would be better without coffee notes.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 4/24/2017. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a 2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted coconut, vanilla, brown bread, light coffee/cream/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt and coconut notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted coconut, vanilla, brown bread, light coffee/cream/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted coconut, vanilla, brown bread, light coffee/cream, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and coconut flavors; with an awesome roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from hop/roast bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome flavored American porter! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and coconut flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink. Really impressive richness and complexity for the 6%; great balance of coconut flavors, without feeling artificial. A really enjoyable and delicious offering.

I hate coconut, but for its texture, not flavor. This Porter was insanely smooth because of the coconut flavor ontop of the chocolate.

Can: Dark, dark brown with a puffy, oatmeal/tan head. Cocoa, coconut aroma. Flavour is nicely toasted.....chocolate/caramel malts....coconut, graham cracker, nuts. Creamy and toasty. Excellent.
