A vintage, single-tank blend of Luxembourgish meadow orchard perry pears, including Luxemburger Mostbirne and Nelchesbirne. A perfect picture of Luxembourgish perry pears – a clean nose full of fresh apples and pears, light stone fruit – mirabelles, peaches. This perry is slightly sweet at the start, rich and gently acidic in the mouth, followed by big tannins and a drying finish.

ABV: 6.1%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate pear, apple, sweet apple, light sulfur. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pear, dry, wood, apple, sweet apple, caramelized apple - pear, light tart. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20201205]

6/10/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale copper coloured with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of baked pear, caramel, light woody earthy notes. Moderate sweetness and light tartness. Medium body, light fizzy carbonation. Very dry tannic finish.

750ml bottle from Scrattings. 2017 vintage. Deep golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of fruity pear. Taste is tangy, fruity, pear, sweetish and sourish, with alittle acidity and some drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
