Mini gathering at Chez Sophie on Sunday 26th July 2020. Cheers Mat for the 75cl bottle of this strange brew. Moody looking dark pour, tanned topping. Malty and minty, end of.

Bottle shared at RB mini-gathering, Shrewsbury (thanks Matt) Had a pleasant minty aroma. Poured more or less jet black with very little head. A heady mixture in the mouth. Dominated by mint, but also liquorice and dark fruits. Sharp texture, with a warming alcoholic strength. Yet more mint in the finish. Very nice and easy drinking.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black, small head. Roasty malty aroma, a bit soapy. Starts intense malty, not too roasty, again some soapy-malty notes, some peppermint notes, spicy. Finish well balanced. Not bad.

Dry milk chocolate, mint is in the back, smooth chocolate with minty hints. Dry caramelly milk-chocolate aftertaste with hints of mint there.

Danke an minutemat. Malziger Beginn mit viel Menthol. Rauchig, trocken, deutlich alkoholisch. Kakao, erstaunlich ausgewogen, Würzig malzig zum Ende. Gut. 10/10/10/10/5/10

75cl bottle shared with Eric. Many thanks. Pours dark with good frothy tan topping. Mint chocolate nose. Taste is smooth, gentle dark chocolate malt with some good mint leaf coming through. Not overtly artificial. Medium bodied. Decent.
