0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, 2023 vintage, best before September 2025. Slightly hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of lots of bourbon, vanilla, raisins, caramel and a touch of coconut. Fairly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity taste of caramel, nuts, bourbon, vanilla, raisins and some wood, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, gently warming finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Heavy barrel influence, therefore fairly complex for a Bock. Good!

0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, 2022 vintage at 8% abv, best before November 2024. Slightly hazy, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of caramel, lots of bourbon, vanilla, sultanas and a touch of honey. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity taste of caramel, nuts, quite some bourbon, vanilla, honey and sultanas, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, a little woody-dry finish. Just medium-bodied, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Bock, benefits a lot from the barrel though, probably wouldn't be too interesting without aging.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is bourbon, not too much though, which is a good thing, some figs too perhaps. Taste is sweet figs, wood, bourbon juice, a bit overdone. Oily mouthfeel with surprisingly foamy carbonation. A bit over the top in flavour.

Bottle. Red brown. Smells like whiskey, vanilla. A lot of wood and barrel, tastes quite strong. And sticky.

Hazy amber. Aroma is caramel plums oak some brown sugar. Taste is fresh and sweet melasses and heavy barrel with light foamy carbonation. Nice.
