typical lager, nothing special, or very interesting. Slightly fruity aroma, some mild hops. Your typical staple beer from an Ontario micro brewery.

Pours a golden colour with a slight amber hue. Big frothy mildly off-white head with great retention and bubbly lace. Slow tiny bubble carbonation. Hoppy nose, well-balanced with the malt and yeast that reminds me of bread. Hints of bananas also stand out. Lightly-bodied with a refreshing crisp mouthfeel, but a little stickiness in the finish. Slightly hazy at the last pour. Mild hop bitterness appears in the taste and the malt comes to soften it. A good-looking lager that is above-average.

Light amber color, very fizzy, medium head. Sweet, caramel aroma, similar to their Scottish PA, with toffee, cherries, butterscotch. Buttery, caramel flavor. Sweet but not too much so. Slightly creamy, with a bit of hops. Finish dries out a bit, with more hops and even a touch of citrus in over the malt. Light to medium body, slightly high carbonation. An interesting lager, similar to a Vienna, with a malt signature like their PA. It is sweet and full-flavored but very well balanced. Not fabulous, but good drinking and interesting.

Hazed golden beer with an extra thick cremy dirty white head. Aroma of spent yeast and peppery celery, again like a missed homebrew. In mouth, a beer with crisp malt, and the rather herbal peppery hops, with yeasty overtones which receede quickly. Again, an infected beer (April 2006).

Moderately drinkable premium lager. Surpassed, however, by Walkerville, Niagara Spray and Creemore.
