Dark brown, thick off white head. Rye bready, spicy, malty, grainy aroma. Earthy, could be the spelt. Flavor has bread, caramel, chocolate. Malty as a bock should be. And pleasant as well.

Bottle shared with sarah at the flat in Copenhagen. Aroma is grain husks, acid dry roast, grainstore. Some rye bread in the nose as well. Clouded caramel brown coloured pour with a lasting cream coloured head. Flavour is slightly burnt toast, some dried fruits. Slight clove yeast character. Palate is medium full with high gas. Lingering roast and burnt sugars. Well made if a bit boring.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small off-white head. Clear grainy aroma with notes of roast and malt. Bitter, roasty flavour with touches of malt and caramel and notes of coffee beans and grain. Sourish, grainy and bitter aftertaste. Interesting.

Bottle from a friend, many thanks Peter. Dark brown color with light beige head. Roasted malt, caramel, coffee, nutty notes. Tasty, but I don’t understand, why this is categorized as Weizenbock.
