Bock möter porter möter old ale.

Bottle @ Rene’s house. Thanks so much for picking this up and sharing! Dark reddish orange appearance with a light brown head. Pretty sweet, brown sugar, caramel, toasty malty aroma. Fairly well balanced, lightly nutty, caramel, toffee, a touch roasty flavor. This one was fun to taste, though I thought it was a doppelbock and not a weizenbock.

0,5 l. bottle bought at the brewery. Hazy, brown colour with a beige, long lasting head. Fruits and malts in the aroma with caramel, malts, spices, banana, bread and nuts. Medium body with a creamy texture. Taste is medium sweet with a long sweet malty finish. Light burn from the alcohol - this a bock after all. Good beer.

Bottle : Poured a dark brown color beer with a foamy off-white head with OK retention and not much lacing. Aroma of dry cereal notes with some light lingering sweetness and some light dry fruits notes. Taste is a balanced mix between some dry cereal notes with some caramelized malt notes and light lingering sweet notes ta the end. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Interesting though not earth shattering – lacking some esters.
