31st May 2019; hand-pulled pint in The Boat, Skipton. Clean golden pour, white head. Fruity and malty with a good hoppy finish. Mixed tropical fruits in the nose, malty front to the taste before the bitterness kicks in. Nice.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Golden with a small head. Has a gritty raw malt taste that lingers in the palate.

Aroma: Biscuit, caramel, earth and pear. Slightly peppery.

Appearance: Clear amber body with a medium off-white head. Very light carbonation. Good lacing.

Taste: Caramel, pear and hints of lemongrass. Quite malty for an IPA. Slightly nutty with a light spice on the finish.

Palate: Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Average carbonation fizz.

Overall: A decent British IPA - just don’t expect a hop bomb.

500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington. Clear deep golden amber colour, bubbly foam white head that dissipates and a fruity malt aroma. Taste is sweet malt, with caramel, fruity & earthy notes and some bitterness, through to a warming bitter finish. Smooth, medium bodied and medium carbonation. OK.
