Om tap at De Gouveneur Maastricht. Dark brown cola coloured beer rocky beige lasting head. Some spicy chocolate on the aroma. Chocolate and brown malt flavour touch of herb. Some sweetness. Finish is much the same. OK dark ale. Some interesting character.

Aroma of dark malt, sugar, hint of roast, raisins, yeast, dark fruity notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Rather ordinary Dubbel, meaning sweet and dull.

On tap. Pours a very dark mahogany with full foamy head. Aromas of doughy malts, dusty chocolate and baking spices. Flavors of same.

Fles gekregen van Inoven. Het is een roodbruin bier met een volle beige schuimkraag. Het heeft een fruitige geur. De smaak is moutig, fruitig en wat wrang.
