Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. A touch of lemon character, plenty of bittering hops and crisp lager malts. Fine.

Bottle from Cooperative Supermarket, Hebden Bridge. Deeper clear golden with a thin head. Sweet lager, but with a low lager-malt influence, allowing a few toffee notes through.

Keg at MS HW, 09/12/17. Pale golden yellow with a decent white head. Nose is pale malts, breads, straw, cereals, light lemon splash, grains. Taste comprises bready and pale malts, light biscuit, toasted grains, cereals, corn, light citric splash. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a gentle pale malt climax. Decent clean drinking lager ... could power through this on a hote day.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - citrus and some cut grass. Some sweet malt in the background. Taste - citrus but mostly toffee. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - not what I expected from a lager but it was pleasant enough.

500ml bottle as Baytown Revenue’s Revenge from the Co-op, Norton. Clear golden amber colour, foam white head leaving lacing and grainy, vegetal, caramel, nutty, woody aroma. Taste is malty, grainy, with caramel, yeasty woody nutty notes, some spice and bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter at the finish. Quite OK.

Brown 500ml bottle: BBD 5th Apr 14, poured into a straight sided pint glass (Fosters logo’ed) @ home on 5th Nov 13. Plenty of bubbles rising through the clear golden body: the head a lot deeper and denser than your regular European lager/pilsners and it stayed. The aroma was a blend of mild citrus notes and light maltiness with the taste following on along those lines. Suited the ham sandwich and olives I had for lunch with it. drying hops appear towards the end of each sip giving the beer a fine, refreshing feel. Good body depth for a lager based brew: makes a change for the head to stay until the end of a lager too (even with olive oils on my lips). Recommended if you like to try different lagers.
