35,5cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours very dark with a pretty short lived tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel and hints of dark chocolate and dark fruits. Moderate sweet with fairly mild roasty flavours and a nice bitterness. Surprisingly lightbodied with a fairly average carbonation. Easy drinkable and enjoyable.

Opaque Pitch Black Color, Small Tan Head Did Not Last Long, Left Little Spotty Lacing. Not Much of Aroma, Guinness Like Aroma. Taste however is completely different. Sweet, Malt, Chocolate, Light Roast Bitter. No Oysters, Although I’m not complaining. More sweet Chocolate than anything else. Pleasant lasting sweet chocolate aftertaste. Love the name and Label. Real Nice Beer. Loved It. Recommended...

Bottle at The Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a thick black with a medium tan head. Strong aroma of coffee, bitter dark chocolate and some light vanilla. Initial roast malty flavours with some sweeter cocoa and caramel notes. Lovely residual flavours of espresso, burnt grains and a slightly salty hint. My kind of stout.

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy grey-tan head. Softish palate with nice fine carbonation. Mild minerals. Mildly tangy dark malt. A little lactose. Soft mild roast. Trace of licorice and a whisper of bubblegum and mellow citrus. Semi dry finish. Not bad.

Taste is slightly dry, roasted coffee, dark malts, cocoa, salty caramel, grass, raw licorice, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Really loved this one.

355ml bottle. Pours a black colour brown-ruby tinged, foam tan head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of coffee & chocolate. Taste is roasted malt with bitter chocolate, coffee and an earthy note. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, some dryness and residual sweetness at the finish. Quite drinkable.
