Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. Clear medium copper tinged gold. Retains a slim white foam. Nose has cooking apple peel. Lightly baked apple. Whiff of sweat. Soft tannins. Touch of leather. Taste is pretty sweet, with a layer of tannic bitterness. Clean and very easy drinking with fine brisk carbonation. Sweet baked apple and light tannins to finish. Very decent.

Bottle at home, 07/05/17. Copper to golden with a collapsing white head. Nose is apple orchard, light funk, straw, light smoke, apple pulp. Taste comprises apple skins, barnyard, light caramelised apple, straw, funky, tannins, light wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent mildly funked up cider.

Cask @ Bridge Bier Huis, Burnley. Paler golden coloured cider. It’s quite stated in its apple flavour, notably in its lingering aftertaste, with a sticky-sweet texture. Much less stated in its aroma.

Bottle at the Laughing Monk, Strete, Devon. Appearance - golden amber with steady bubbles. Nose - ripe but dry apples. Taste - as per nose. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - though I prefer still cider this was enjoyable.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe online store. Golden colour, fizzy shortlived white foam head and aroma of tart apple, vanilla oaky. Taste is tangy apple, apple skins, woody light oak. Slightly oily mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
