This crisply delicious cold-filtered cider has no artificial flavours or sweeteners, simply bucket-loads of great apple taste. That's real refreshment.

440ml can. Gold, brief fizzy head. Aroma is dry, slightly tart apples and sulphur. Taste is sweet, mild tart apples and a moderate dry finish. Body is a touch syrupy and carbonation high. Typical cheap cider although this has a mildness to it with no off notes but it is a bit dull.

10/11/2018. Draught at Norwich UEA ahead of seeing Heaven 17 @ LCR. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma of sweet apple juice, hint of clove and slightly metallic. Quite heavy sweetness, minimal bitterness. Moderate body, slight sticky texture, average carbonation.

On 23rd Jan 2020 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is a cider!

Keg at the Patterdale Hotel, Patterdale, Cumbria. Pale gold, moderate fizz. Sweetish, plastic-y, thin, watery with a vague hint of economy grape juice, and a rather smaller dab of eating apple. At least the finish had a bit of crispness, and unlike some mass-market ciders it's not unbearably sweet and sticky (although it's still fairly sweet). It's still pretty dreadful regardless.

Bottle by Carlsberg Russia. Clear gilden brew with minimal white head. Aroma: green apples, sugar. Light body. Highly fizzy palate. Medium sweet taste. Well-attenuated. Simple. Too sweet

Can shared with a friend in the Lincolnshire Fens. Light gold with no head and oh so fizzy. Very little aroma, mostly sugar syrup. Very sweet but tastes OK. More like a fizzy pop but drinkable enough. Too carbonated. Not particularly recommended.
