75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Lovely champagne like carbonation bobbles. Aroma is rather winegrape fruity with a mild esteric and sweet note. Flavour holds a complex mix of malt, grapes and belgian yeast. The malt flavours lend towards almond notes, grapes provide a lovely fruity yet slight easteric note and the yeast gives a complex subdued spice note. Lingers with almond notes into the finish.

Bottel. Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head. yellow colour, small particles. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma with nice citric notes. Moderate bitter flavor, average finish. Creamy almost astringent palate. not worth the money. Champagne (the right stuff) is much better!!!!

Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. A very sparkling, clear, golden beer with a nice white head. It smells quite hoppy, with malt, some spicyness and hay notes as well. Alcohol, hops, spices, some wheat, malt and notes of hay in the flavor. Full-bodied, with a fizzy feeling in the mouth, and a long, hoppy finish with some alcohol to follow. A quite complex beer, and I really liked it. Struggled a bit to pin it, but had a second glass, and that did the job. (070103)

ZBF 2007 Fast neutraler Geruch, etwas hopfig, minimal malzig. Leicht herb und überraschend mild ist das Bier. Später wird es herber, leider auch alkoholisch. Das leicht hhopfige Aroma bildet den Abschluss eines etwas langweiligen Bieres. Test vom 4.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,8,8,-,8 - 8,00

[Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm] Pale golden. Very lively brief head, Yeasty aroma of banana and raspberries. Medium sweet and medium bodied with soft, spritzy mouthfeel. The comparably light body gives alcohol plenty of room, creating a liqueur-like raspberry flavour. Fruity with evident notes of almond and a hint of butter.

Corked bottle
Hazy blond color. Spicy aroma, coriander, similar to a Triple; dry; woody. The mouthfeel is quite dry and light, because of the high carbonation; there is the typical taste of Belgian ales, it’s bitter enough, but there is little malt flavor and the hops leave no trace of quality. The alcohol is quite warming at times. Pleasant but not exceptional.

75 cl bottle. Hazy orange color, medium white head. Aroma is bit spicy and malty, some champagne, bit alcohol. Same taste. Bit disappointing if you compare this to the other Brut beers of Malheur.
