Can at home from Tap Room, Pacific Beach, picked this up at the Pliny The Younger event, consumed at home, 5th July 2025. Pours a thick black oily beer. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, spice. Taste is chocolate and coffee, roasted malts and quite prominent green chilli, vegetal and heat, bittersweet. Great stuff

Can from a beautifull cardboard box ( every single can is boxed sperately ), with a sheet of paper inside to explain all about the beer. The can itself also looks amazing. The beer on the other hand, pours black, with intense dark foam that fades within seconds. However, even with 0 foamstability, this kind of packaging deserves a 5/5 on appearance, period! Smell is showing some of the peppers, mild vanilla, and traces of bourbon. Thick roasty backbone underneath. Taste is full, intense roasty, chocolate, well balanced spicyness ( bit on the high side perhaps, but not over the top ) subtile vanilla and bourbon. good, thick body, and relatively high carbo ( especially in a speedway beer ) . Another great version of speedway , yet not thé best to date.

12 oz can, from an IP trade with richiesd, thanks! Black color. Beige head with short retention. Aroma's upon opening the can: sweetish, chocolate and coffee, but that quickly makes way for pepper, and pepper only. Retronasal too, it's mainly pepper, vegetal, just light roast and chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet, chocolate, chili. Firm pepper heat, but that disappears almost immediately after swallowing. Roasty, chocolate-y finish. Not the finest Speedway variant.

A bit over the top on the chilli but over all a fun take on the regular speedway.

Black with medium brown head. Aroma is chocolate, green bell peppers, vanilla, hints, of coffee. Taste is dry dark chocolate, with some spicyness later. Not so soothing and smooth as some others. Still great.
