Our Bag-in-Box perry is fermented from 100% fresh pressed English pears from Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, we never add sugars prior to fermentation and we never add concentrate so our perry is rich, complex, satisfying and bursting with the genuine flavour of the pears from which it is made.
Poacher’s Perry (5.8% abv) is a smooth, traditional, medium perry with a fresh fruity aroma and bitter-sweet finish.

Bag in a box at the Darlington CAMRA 2016 Beer Festival at the Forum. Very pale yellow colour, no head and mellow pear aroma. Flavour is sweet, pear, apple with light tannins. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry mellow fruity finish. Quite OK.

Box @ Parcel Bar, Hebden Bridge. Hazy pale yellow coloured. Has a light tasting texture. The fruit has a very small dryness that’s most notable in its aftertaste. Stated enough and feels good in the back of the palate.
