Exotic fruit aroma, pineapple probably. Bitter, somewhat herbal flavor, in fact a rather nasty, earthy bitterness. Bitter walnuts, hint of exotic fruit, soap and carrots. Sorry, I really don't like this beer.

One of those weird quinoa beers to support honest trading practices with the Third World. Refermented with champagne yeast. The result is a somewhat bizarre beer with spicy sweetness in the aroma, something grainy and aniseed-like; taste does not live up to this relatively promising and interesting aroma, grainy, sweetish with a sour, ’wild’ touch.

Despite the hippie bullshit about organic and enviromental friendly, with this one, they paid some attention to the taste of the beer too. It’s a bit sour, malty and has some fresh herbs. Good beer.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden amber colour, thin white head and aroma of grain, wheat, fruity, yeast. Grainy flavour, with yeasty, earthy & spicy notes plus alittle bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry finish. OK

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 27.02.2009
Aroma is sweetish with fruits, some yeasty notes and spices. Flavour has soapy citrus, some grainy notes, spices, fruits and yeasty notes. Definitely a Belgian feeling here. Better and actually quite different than I expected.

33cl bottle at an ethiopian restaurant. Thin white head. Served in a coconut shell so I can’t see the colour. Not great
