On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - amber brown with a lovely fluffy head. Nose - light orange and herb. Malt at the back. Taste - more orange, some resin. Some lime at the end. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - likes this.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is mango, melon, grass. Medium body, juicy hop, grass, light pine, light bitterness, very good.

Pours nice amber, cop perish even. Has some foam that is actually staying even for a short while. Aroma is malty, some ho back kick there too. Taste combines some malt background with relatively strong hops. IT is more like balanced rather than just letting the hops shine. Reminds me British style IPA’s, more body, less (but still a lot) of bitterness.

12 oz can purchased at the DeLaurenti market in Seattle, Washington. The pour is a slight hazed golden copper with a smallish white head. The aroma is rounded citrus, floral hops, with some pine and a bit of cracker malt. The taste is big resin citrus, floral and a warming honey herbal towards the back. Nice mineral character in the dry finish. The palate is medium bodied with natural carbonation and the lingering softly bitter mineral finish. Nice one.

Draught at the brewery, 8/17/16.
Pale, lightly hazy, bronze-golden with a touch of copper. White head atop is medium-sized and shows moderately strong retention.
Apricot, nectarine, mango and grapefruit in the nose are backed by soft honey and biscuit notes from the malt. There is indeed a bit of robust pininess, but it helps add strength and doesn’t feel resinous or problematic. Quite juicy indeed and drying out on the finish with nectarine, peach and grapefruit lingering. No alcohol or flaw.
Surprisingly malty-sweet, though still with good attenuation. The hops are welded to the malt nicely and provide ruby red grapefruit, juicy mango and nectarine, with lots of honey and light caramel lingering. Some tangy pine adds interludes of sharpness and thus, more assertiveness, but it’s appreciated here, in the face of the malt and juicy tropical notes. Nice stuff and with no flaw or alcohol.

Pours a clear amber-orange, with smallish head. Aroma is strongly tropical fruit. Flavor is quite bitter, with tropical and citrus notes. Plenty of hop bite. Might use a bit more balance, but not bad.

Hazy amber beer, big pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Nice light malts with pleasant light creamy sweetness. Hops bring sweet and spicy pine, orange and tangerine and mild peel. More pine before a light and semi dry finish. Very drinkable IPA.
