24/10/2022. Schooner at Pyrmont Bridge Hotel, Sydney. Pours cloudy pale yellow green gold with no head. Aroma is apple core, sulphur, light funky notes. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Nicer than expected.

On tap at Young Henry's, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet red apples and light farmhouse character. Flavour is quite sweet, with medium-high sweetness and red apples. Quite sweet but drinkable. It's alright.

375ml can from Beer Cartel, Sydney. Hazy yellow colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of apple, lemony citrus, hay. Taste is crisp apple, tangy, fruity, bittersweet. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry lightly tannic finish. Quite OK.

Cloudy pale. Aroma is funny, light apple, but candyish and just a bit odd. Sweeter, a bit like taking apple juice and making moonshine cider with it...so not refined, a bit odd, amateurish, too.

On tap @ brewery. Faint apple nose, not sweet. Cloudy yellow cider with thin lasting head. Slight zing then apple juice/sherbet finish. Touch of caramel very late. Delicious!

Pours super hazy straw.Nose shows sweet apple notes hinting at pink lady, baked apples and apple confectionery.Flavours include a hint of white wine followed by sweet apple juice.Carbonation is much too high.

(On tap) Cloudy pale yellow with small white head. Subtle citrusy apple aroma. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Taste is apple dominated, a little tart and a little sweet. Overall it’s rather a middle of the road cider: it’s pleasant but nothing special, but also it’s neither lolly water like many mainstream ciders, nor the aggressive assault on the tatsebuds that some specialty ciders can be.

First ratingDraught, part of a tasting paddle, at Young Henry’s, Sydney, on July 11, 2013.Cloudy lemon peel yellow color, white head. Apple sauce, a bit sweet taste. Apple, sort of tart apple peel, also warm apple sauce aftertaste. Really nice! Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, very low bitterness, but a tad bit tart. Sweet apple sauce scent.I could drink plenty of this!7/2/8/4/16=3.7RerateDraught as part of a paddle at the brewpub on October 15, 2015.As 4.6%.Cloudy lemon yellow color, white head.
