Bottle at work thanks to Johannes. Pours oily, hazy chestnut orange with a thin white head. Aromas of chalky spice, light coffee, toffee. Lacks a banana note for me. Taste is light sweet, toffee, dates. Sticky finish.

Bottled at the presentation. Brownish amber reddish murky body, tiny beige head. Dark bread, nutty, light chocolate, banana. Sweet, dark maltiness up front nutty and caramelly, subdued banana. Solid alcohol presence, but not distracting. Full body. Good weizenbock, lacking some of the complex esters I like here, but a good beer.

0.33 l bottle (’Kraftbier’) from ’Dilo’, best before February 2017. Murky, dark brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of overripe banana, milk chocolate, cherries, clove and some caramel. Quite sweet, malty, fruity and moderately yeasty-spicy taste of overripe banana, cherries, plums, clove, milk chocolate and some caramel, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, minimally sourish and quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. A bit too sweet maybe, but also quite complex and deep, and overall just very tasty. Good one!
