Smooth and soft beginning. The beer is deep - yeast, ripe banana, hints of roast with a nice sweetish and round malty body. Easy to drink, soft, not too sweet. Caramel-banana, nice malt with nearly no bitterness. Great!

Geringe Karbonisierung, süßlich hefiger Antrunk mit genügend Tiefgang, so, wie ich mir eine Weizenbock vorstelle. Vergorene Banane, steigende Hefigkeit mit leichtem Alkoholtouch. Mittellanger Nachgeschmack, in dem die meisten Aromen leider schnell verblassen. 5/11/11/9/9/10

Mal wieder ein kleines Experiment mit (Über)lagerung: Flasche mit MHD 19.02.14, rund ein Jahr im Keller gelagert. - Schmutziges Gelbbraun, sehr trüb. - In der Nase breite Hefe, dunkles Malz, überreife süße Frucht und Alkohol (Rumtopf). - Antrunk breit weizenmalzig mit schwerer, überreifer Frucht (Banane, Birne), Gewürznelken, Zimt; aufgelockert durch eine zart säuerlich-fruchtige Note (schwarze Johannisbeere). Mild rezent, sehr vollmundig, ja breit. Im Abgang nicht sehr bittere aber doch deutliche Hopfenherbe, leicht trocken, gut wärmender Alkohol. - Famoser Weizenbock, von saftiger Schwere und fruchtiger Fülle, trotz des spürbar hohen Alkoholgehalts nicht fuselig. Noch ein Weizenbock, den man getrost im Keller über das MHD hinaus reifen lassen kann. Ein frisches Exemplar hatte mich gar nicht überzeugt, aber nach einem Jahr Lagerung sieht die Sache doch anders aus.

50cl bottle. BB 06.03.15. Murky brown, thick, offwhite head. Sweet banana, caramel, wheaty aroma. Flavor has ripe banana, sweetness, wheat, sweet fruity notes. Long dark fruity, slightly sweet finish. Awesome weizenbock, nicely balanced, not too sweet either.

0.5l bottle. Hazy ruby/orange body, off-white head. Aroma of ripe banana, cloves, booze and caramel. The taste is quite sweet and boozy with notes of banana, pepper, cloves and caramel. It’s a nice beer overall, but the alcohol content should be hidden a bit more.

Dla mnie slabszy weizenbock jaki pilem. Piany niewiele, kolor sliwkowo ciemno pomaranczowy, metnosc ok, sporo jej bylo. Slodowa struktura ale z alkoholowym i etanolowym zapachu i smaku, co nieco mnie draznilo. Wyczulem takze nieco przypraw, moze pieprzu chyba. Koncowka alkoholowa. Troche perfumowy zapach. Butelka zwykla, niestety nie taka z krachla jak na zdjeciu.

Draught. Hazy brown with a thin head. Aroma is fruity caramel. Flavor is raisin, chocolate caramel, wheat with a hint of alcohol.

Bottle. Murky brown, cappucino creamy head. Preserved cherry, dark chocolate, port, tobacco aroma, unique weizen fuseloils. Medium full body, dry mellow mouthfeel. Licorice, berries, vanilla, tobacco notes, dry minerals on the palate. Refreshing and quite moreish actually, intriguing wheat bock.

Bottle. Brown colour, hazy, with beige head which is not as big as in most hefeweizens. Aroma reminds me of Belgian dubbels: quite intensive prune, maybe some cherry, raisin, quite a bit alcohol. Hard to identify wheat character here - I don’t feel any banana aroma. Light sweetness, light bitterness. Medium to full body, lively carbonation.
