A variation of our “classic” ReAle based on hops! Different hop varieties are added during the last 10 minutes of the boil, we add 3 times as much! The result is an explosion of aromas, from citrusy to resins (pine and incense). At the first sip your taste buds will be pleasantly overdriven by its bitterness that lead to a very pleasant and persistent tangerine note.

Bottle shared at Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Presentation of Italian beers from Borgo, Amarcord and Baladin (many thanks to Benito!). Best beer I had that evening. Great hoppy, grapefuit-like smell with some other fruit. Really good hoppy taste. Nice balance. Palate really good as well.

Bottle: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some excellent lacing. Aroma consists of earthy hops with floral notes with strong Belgian malt with light sweetness. Taste is also a very nice mix between some earthy hops with dryness and floral notes with a solid malt backbone with nice flavour. Body is full with perfect carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed and easily drinkable.

Cloudy amber beer with a persistent thick frothy head. Peppery rich hops dominate, not talking US style hopping but it’s well hopped. Sour tang also keeps things interesting.

Bottle from Beer Ritz, Leeds. Shared with Chris on the train to London. Darkish golden pour with a slight haze and a white head. Great fragant nose with bags of resinous hop and juicy fruit. Similar flavour with some sweetness. Wonderfully delicate mouthfeel and excellent poise and balance. Long, lingering bitter finish. Hugely drinkable and surely a world class IPA.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a medium creamy offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malts and a strongly bitter citrus and earthy hop note. The taste is bitter leafy and citrus hops, peach and pear and some pale malts. Very bitter with a lingering bitterness. Medium bodied. Quite interesting and a nice beer.

Bottle: Poured a golden color with a white to off white head. Aroma was fresh harvest of grass/hay and fruit. Taste was very refreshing with citrus fruits, some spice/pepper, and nice hops bittering.

Bottle. Hazy orangey brown, lovely off-white head. Fantastic aroma - complex, but dominated by a beautiful clear stone fruit (apricot) scent with lovely floral notes. Medium body with good carbonation. Flavour follows the aroma but is strengthened by some sweet malt, peppery spiciness and a good strong bitter finish. For me the bitterness is a bit too intense; whilst this is good in its own right, in this case it somewhat overwhelms some of the other excellent but more subtle flavours. Overall a really excellent beer.

Bottle. Bright orangey beer with a light head. The aroma is vinous and the flavour is rich, vinuous and bitter. Overall a reasonable beer.
