Sample shared thanks to sjogro and danlo. Clear golden with nice ring of small bubbles. Dry apple juice and peel, soft grass, tannins, dry oak, light farmhouse funk. Light sweet and tart, under medium bitter. Medium bodied and quite dry finish. Quite OK.

Sample from danlo, big thanks! Clear golden with no head. Soft sweet apples, red and yellow character I’d say. Some soft woody and vanilla tones, cooked apple sauce, some hint of an old onion in there, makes me think of specific hop characters. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

500ml bottle from Glug, Newcastle. Sparkling, orange gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, woody, funky. Taste is crisp apple flesh, tart apple, fruity notes, melon & white grape, some vanilla, with light funk and tangy dryness. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

500ml bottle from Ludlow Food Festival. Clear golden body, very dry on the tongue, a little sweet, lovely tannin, rich, nice character with a hint of mild vanilla as you make your way through. All in all a beautiful little cider.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Golden, with decent fizz. Inviting aroma of juicy, dryish fruit with a dab of honey in the background. Full, apple juice flavour with a slightly farty edge and tart finish. Good.
