Bottle at home, from Oliver’s online, 09/05/20. Light haze on a rusty orange copper pour with a moderate head of bubbles that escape edgeward. Nose is dusty apples, earth, sugars, burnt caramel, light smoke. Taste comprises ripe apple, brown sugar dusting, tannins, light funk, orchard wood. Medium bodied, moderate to limited carbonation, drying close with a gentle kiss of alcohol. Solid.

330ml screw top bottle from Olivers. Hazy deep orange gold amber colour, afew bubbles on top and funky sharp apple aroma. Taste is mellow, fruity apple, bittersweet, tangy leathery solventy funk, sweetish, honeyish hint, with soft drying earthy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

330ml screw-cap bottle from Olivers Cider Farm, Herefordshire. Pours murky orange. Aroma has an alluring deep, lightly caramelised apple sweetness. Taste is smooth and perhaps not as rough or coarse as expected, with soft apple mush and just enough furry tannins on the tongue. My kind of scrumpy.
