Clear golden juice. Soft and smushy light sweet apples, wonderfully soft feel. There’s a very fine vinagrous tartness behind a smooth wall of vanillaesque applesauce, combined with some dry woody tannins & a supple mouthfeel. A really nice and easy cider.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Pours a sparkling yellow gold colour with a short-lived white foam head and aroma of fruity apple & funk. Taste is juicy apple, bittersweet, with fruity, leathery funk, alittle tartness and some earthy tannins. Medium bodied, fine to medium carbonation, medium-dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

500ml bottle shared with Soph, bought from Co-Op Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold. Aroma is golden sweet, full sweet apple fruit. Taste presents a full fruity character and light sour tannin fuzz. Good clarity of apple fruit flavour, quite bright and medium sweet with a light butterscotch linger on the finish. Decent stuff.
