Bottle from Chez Sophie. Appearance - bright orange and slightly hazy. Some white lace that hangs about. Nose - stewed apples tbough still evidence of acidity and tannins. Taste - sweet stewed apple which suggests just a touch of caramel. Palate - it's sweet but there is still great acidity and gentle tannins. Medium bodied. Overall - veryn8ce.

500ml bottle thanks to Mr Scrattings. Pours a misty golden amber, aroma is pleasantly sweet caramel-tinged apple fruit. Taste presents a nice firm tannic Yarlington Mill and Dabinett, with a nice gentle sweetness and pleasant caramel and vanilla shades, some underlying woody notes. Very good.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Orangey gold colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of mellow fleshy cooked apple. Taste is sweet, apple, toffee apple, cooked apple, caramel, with drying apple skin and tannin. Medium bodied, low to medium slightly spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.
