Can from the Raven Hill online shop. Pours murky amber with a thin white head. Aromas caramel, marmalade, higher alcohols. Taste has some booze burn, bitter greens and cooked citrus. Boozy finish.

Can. Just a light haze on this deep gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts, getting on for luxuriant. Unfortunately let down by a pretty clunky hop delivery. Pithy tangy bitterness that is at least offset by some resinous but pretty ripe citrus fruits, fair bit of orange peel. It's fine but hardly up there with modern craft DIPAs.

950ml Crowler from Brass Castle. Orangey amber brown colour, off-white foam head leaving lacing and sweet marmalade & caramel aroma. Taste is sweet malt caramel, floral fruity hop, orangey with some grapefruit, pine and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry tangy boozy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Keg @ Narrow Boat, Skipton. Mid to dark amber with a very thin head. Very strong tasting but with a strong tropical fruitiness evident too, and surprisingly quite tasty for its alcohol content.
