Bag in a box at EBF April 23. Aroma of sugared rhubarb. Cloudy amber. A few translucent white bubbles. Sweet. Again, sugared rhubarb. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Hits the spot.

Keg at Draft House, Hammersmith. Pours cloudy pale gold with a loose white head. Aroma: apples, rhubarb, caramel. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, stewed rhubarb, sweet apples. Medium body with low carbonation. Bit too sweet for me

Draught at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Hazy gold colour, thin white foam rim and cordial fruity aroma. Taste is sweet, sugary, cooked apple with rhubarby musky notes. Light to medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, sweet finish. OK, very sweet.

17/4/2018. Bag in box at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours cloudy pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet apples, rhubarb and caramel. Heavy sweetness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Not bad and like rhubarb but too sweet for me.

Box @ GBBF ’17. Pours a misty pale gold, small white head. Aroma of fresh rhubarb. Taste perhaps slightly over-sweet, with some sticky stewed rhubarb flavours. Not lacking on the rhubarb flavours, but a touch imbalanced and overly sweet.
