Ripe stone and tropical fruit flavours with a spicy kick from the rye balance the strong malt character of this twist on a classic American recipe.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle brought home from the brewery by my wife. Pours a light brown colour with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of tropical fruits, rye, caramel, pine, citrus & light spices. Medium body, soft carbonation. Dry bitter finish. Very well made beer

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - amber to copper. Generous fluffy head. Nose - dried fruit, cake and an edge of caramel. A pine and citrus hoppiness cuts through it too. Taste - orange, bread and light wood spice. Zest from hops again. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Dry, balanced bitterness. Overall - would've happily gone back for a second or third.

Keighley & Worth Valley Beer Festival 2017. Clear amber-brown in colour, but more of the latter. It’s a bitter in character with a low to mid bitterness and a mild sweetness.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 1/10/2017. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Leafy hops, hedgerow fruits, some earthy cereal malts, hint of spice and a moderately bitter finish. Good.
