Night Bird is our sophisticated yet easy drinking namesake, a sparkling fragrant and refreshing cider. A medium wild fermented cider made from dessert and culinary varieties grown on the Nightingale’s family farm and surrounding orchards.
We've been making Night Bird since 2018, it was our first sparkling cider released under the Nightingale Cider banner.

1/12/2020. Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Pours clear almost colourless with a short lasting fizzy white head. Aroma is crisp, medium sweet, green apples, with a light syrupy caramel edge. Quite spritzy carbonation, which seemed to suit it quite well. Moderate body, syrupy texture. Quite liked it.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Pip Stop online. Pours crystal clear, pale with just a hint of yellow, effervescent. Light to medium sweet flavour, fairly straightforward, with notes of semi-ripe apple, a little apple sauce, honey, pale bread. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more decent sweetness, only a hint of cellar and grass, more juicy apple character. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has nice full medium fruit. Taste presents a pleasant mellow medium apple fruit character with gently crisp acidity, measured carbonation, gentle tart floral notes. Good cider.

On tap at Fuggles Beer Cafe Tonbridge. Clear very pale green gold colour thin white head. Apple fresh fruit aroma with a little skin tannin. Sweeter in mouth. Some fruit juice some sweetness. Some light apple skin character. Original review text: On tap at the Fuggles Beer Cafe Tunbridge Wells. Clear pale yellow green colour. Central pillar of bubbles. Dry cider aroma. Decent sparkling dry apple cider with a little lading residual sweetness. Medium dry. Finish is initially sweet then dries out. Apple juice in out is light but decent with a slight sharp urgency underlying it. OK. Bit too sweet for my tooth. Very drinkable.

330ml bottle from Crafty Nectar. Very pale yellow colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of green apple. Taste is sweetish, tangy apple, green apple, some apple skin & core, citric, some tartness and a sulphury hint. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi-dry finish. Quite OK
