Transparant head gone in seconds over cristal clear old golden beer. Peach, nectarine, golden wheat on the field, fine & aromatic nose; and surprisingly, Sauternes, noble rot. Sour peach, again, very fine white "Balsamic", ultra-dry applecider. Thick feel, much more than the 6.3% would warrant. Undercarbonated. If the taste were as the nose, one would be able to sell this as small private vineyard Sauternes. Amazing. Txs to Stef!

Keg at Moor Vaults, Enid Street, 24/10/19. Light haze on a golden orange pour with a well presented white head. Nose is tarte fruit, wood must, pissy strokes,on the turn melon, funky stoned fruits. Taste comprises funk, damp hay, fucked over apricot, tarte fruit compote, damp straw, green berry skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced acidic rip. Solid well constructed sour.

330ml bottle from Cheese & Wine Shop, Darlington. Golden colour, thin white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of citrus rind, funky. Taste is sour, tart, lemon rind, fruity, plum, some pale malt, alittle biscuit and funky, salty. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle bought at the White Horse, Edwardstone. Vinous and floral aroma. Plums. Hazy copper gold. Very bubbly at first but pretty much no head. Medium sour. Again it's not unsurprisingly vinous. Fruit and berries. A hint of bitterness into the finish. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Despite its initial lively appearance the carbonation is average-flat. Dry astringent finish - there's a bite to it. Pity the weather is turning as I would liked to have sat out here in the back garden watching the swifts whilst sipping this.

Grom tap at Kill the Cat, Spitafields, 10.01.19. Hazy dark golden. Diminishing white head. Exellent aroma and taste og lambic, dried apricot some leather. Very quaffable, but perhaps lacking a bit in complexity. Dry, appropriately astringent, but slightly waterish mouthfeel.
