(Bottle) Pours clear pale violet with no head. Intense Parma violet aroma with a hint of apples. Light body with plenty of rather fizzy carbonation. Taste is dominated by the Parma violets with some tart cider in the background. Weird but strangely drinkable.

Pale purple pour, no head. Aroma of Parma violet candy and perfume. Sweet flavour of candy, sherbet. Very scented - almost too much like washing up liquid. Despite this its ok and mildly refreshing. Moderate carbonation and a decent body which is smooth/oily on the palate.

330ml bottle. Drank at home during the virus Lock In, 6th May 2020. Christ this stuff is sweet, just like the other three I had on the same afternoon from this company.

9/6/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale violet with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma is just like a pack of parma violet sweets (which I hated as a kid so I was hardly likely to enjoy this made into a 'cider'). Very sweet and scented. I suppose it achieves what it intends, but didn't like this at all.

Bottle from B&M, Rochdale. Purple-pink in colour, somewhat dry tasting with the parma violet aroma akin to the candy sweets of the same name. This is apparent but a little less stated in taste where its cider elements come to the fore, which has a sweetness and a lot of perfume about it.

330ml bottle from Home Bargains, Darlington. Pale purple colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of parma violet candy. Taste is sweet, perfumy, sherberty, parma violet candy flavouring, along with laundry liquid. Light bodied, foamy carbonation, sweet candy finish. Very artificial, some weird flavours coming through
